Arts and Crafts

I’m very interested in the Arts and Crafts Movement, and associated artists and communities, as well as ‘Back to the Land’ movements and progressive education.  Recently, I gave a talk on ‘Edward Thomas and the Arts and Crafts Movement’ at the Edward Thomas Study Day in Petersfield, and I’ve written about the movement for A Cambridge History of World War One Poetry.  The Arts and Crafts Movement also featured in my Chatterton Lecture at the British Academy.
